1. About Us

These terms apply to your use of www.placeoftreasure.co.uk and any purchase you make from Place of Treasure ("we", "us", "our"), a UK-based e-commerce gift and food delivery business.

2. Orders and Contract

By placing an order on our website, you are making an offer to purchase the selected products. A binding contract between you and us is formed when we send you an order confirmation email. We reserve the right to decline or cancel any order, for example if a product is out of stock or a pricing error has occurred.

3. Pricing

All prices are displayed in British Pounds (£) and include applicable VAT where required. Delivery charges are shown separately at checkout. We reserve the right to change prices at any time. The price you pay is the price shown at the time you place your order.

4. Payment

Payment is required at the time of placing your order. We accept Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, and Amazon Pay. All payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your card details.

5. Delivery

We aim to dispatch all orders within 1–2 working days. Estimated delivery times are stated on our Shipping Information page but are not guaranteed. We are not responsible for delays caused by third-party couriers or circumstances beyond our control (e.g., adverse weather, postal strikes).

6. Returns and Refunds

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of delivery (cooling-off period) for most items. 7. Product Descriptions

We take care to ensure product descriptions and images are accurate. However, colours may appear slightly different on screen depending on your device. Gift box contents may vary slightly from images shown where equivalent substitutions are made.

8. Promotional Codes

Promotional codes may be subject to specific terms and expiry dates. Only one promo code may be used per order. Codes cannot be combined with other offers unless explicitly stated.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images, logos, and product descriptions, is the property of Place of Treasure and may not be reproduced without our prior written consent.

10. Limitation of Liability

Our liability to you in connection with any order is limited to the total price you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights under UK consumer law.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of our website after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
